The first rock’n'roll performance on national television happened in 1954 on the Colgate Comedy Hour, hosted by Dean Martin and Jerry Lewis. Musical guests, The Treniers were joined by Dean & jerry in this unforgettably entertaining performance.

You have to see this spoof of 1970s-era technical films to believe it. The narrator and writer is Bud Haggert, the leading technical voiceover talent of his day. He wrote the script because he rarely understood the technical copy he was asked to read and felt he wasn’t alone. Who says you can’t make this stuff up? Bud did!
